How to connect to the network
- Position the HMT 350 close to your wireless router
- From the Menu
- Select "Settings"
- 'Network Setup'
- 'WIFI Setup'
- 'Autoscan'
- searching - it will come with a list of wireless routers
- Select your wireless router from this list
- Do this by the SSID (Usually written on bottom of router)
- Select 'Open System'
- enter the wirless encryption key (usually on bottom of wireless roter aswell)
- The unit is now connected to the network
How to connect to a TV
- Use the 3 pin video cable to connect the HMT 350 to a TV
- Depending on TV you may need to use a RCA to Scart adaptor
- Connect into the 'CVBS' port on the back the HMT 350
- From the Menu
- Select "Settings"
- 'Video Out'
- 'TV Out'
- 'CVBS'
- The screen of the HMT 350 will go blank
- Make sure the TV is set to the correct input e.g. 'AV1' and the picture will appear on the screen
How to access internet TV
- From the Menu
- Select "Network"
- 'Internet TV'
- choose from 'by Region' (other option 'by Genre')
- Europe
- Use 'PG.DN' to Ireland & select
- select from RTE, Dail TV, etc - note Irish selection is poor
- can repeat for any country in the world (content is not as good as is on the internet radio)
How to access internet radio
- From the Menu
- Select "Network"
- 'Internet Radio'
- choose from 'by Region' (other option 'by Genre')
- Europe
- Use 'PG.DN' to Ireland & select
- select from 90 Local and national stations
- can repeat for any country in the world (Brilliant content range)
Shoutcasts
This is a great great feature that you allows to select your area of interest
- From the Menu
- Select "Network"
- 'Shoutcast'
- choose option e.g. 'Comedy'
- choose option e.g. 'Blue Planet Prank radio'
Podcasts
This is a great great feature but the content providers are limited
- From the Menu
- Select "Network"
- 'Podcast'
- choose option e.g. 'featured Publishers'
- choose option e.g. 'BBC'
- choose from content from various BBC stations
- choose from different shows
- play podcast
Favourites list
Step 1: Add items to your favorites list
- e.g. find an internet radio station (or podcast ....) you like
- Press the 'FAV' button on remote
Step 2: Access Favorite list
- From the Menu
- arrow over to 'My Favorites'
- see channels self grouped into Radio, TV, Podcast & shoutcast
