Will UPC or Sky Customers get all the Saorview Channels

I heard on the radio today about this Saorview service going live. It didn't mention it on the radio programme but will I be able to get all the new Saorview Channels on UPC or Sky?

Note: from middle of March 2012, some Saorview channels will be available on UPC & Sky. RTE2 HD will only be available to in certain areas to UPC subscribers.

Original answer ages ago: Paddy, at the moment the answer is a definite NO. It would seem to me that this will be way for the foreseeable future. Maybe a deal will be worked out somewhere along the way between RTE and UPC and/or Sky but for now, the only way to get all the Saorview Channels and especially RTE2 HD is with an official Saorview Box, a Saorview Approved TV or with a Digital TV Receiver that is Mpeg4 & HD compatible.
Another option worth considering is a combo receiver. This will give you all the free UK and Irish channels all in one box with one remote.
