- Satellite Dish (for the free UK channels)
- UHF Aerial (for the Irish Saorview channels)

How to Install a Walker WP645TS-HD Combo Receiver

Unpack the box
Contents
- Walker Satellite Combo Receiver
- HDMI Cable, Remote Control, 2x AAA Batteries & User Manual
Push the lead from the Aerial into the 'Aerial in' connection
Screw the lead from the satellite dish into the 'LNB in' connection
Connect the scart lead from TV to 'TV out' connection on box
Plug in the power lead
Turn on the power switch on the back on the box
After 5-6 seconds the box will come on and should automatically switch TV to the correct AV channel if you are connected using a scart cable. If using a HDMI cable, you will may to use the source button on your TV remote to change to the correct AV channel on the TV

How to Sort & Delete the Channels on the Walker WP645TS-HD Saorview Combo

This is the same for both Satellite and Terrestrial channels

Press the Menu button on the remote control
Select channel list and press OK
Use the arrow up/down button to select channel
Select what you want to do to that channel by pressing the right/left arrow buttons on remote
Arrow over to delete, press ok. Are you sure - Yes
Can only delete one channel at a time but very quick
To move a channel, arrow down to desired channel. Arrow accross to move option
Press Ok. Use number buttons on remote to move that channel to the desired location
Again, can only move one channel at a time
Press exit to go back to live TV
It will save the new edited channel list

How To Manually Tune in a Satellite Channel

Use OPT button on the remote to move to satellite channels
Press menu button on the remote
Select Setup and press OK
Select Installation and press OK
Select Satellite manual scan
Select Astra2 28.2e

Example for Challenge TV

Frequency: 11565
Symbol Rate: 27500
Scan encrypted - NO

Press Ok to begin scan
Very quick, maybe 30 seconds
Channels are added to end of TV channels list
Can reposition as you desire from that point (see how to sort and delete video)

How to use the EPG & Information Buttons

Same applies to both satellite & terrestrial channels

Info Button

Pressing the info button brings up some useful information
Name of programme
Start/end time
Current time
What's on now/next at a glance
Signal quality
Press info button again to make it disappear

EPG Button

7 day EPG on Irish Saorview channels
Now/Next on UK channels
Use arrows on remote to highlight programme
Press info button to see synopsis of that programme
Press exit to go back to live TV

How to use the Media Player

Insert your storage device into the front USB port on the Walker Combo
To browse for your stored media, press the media browser button the remote (has little musical note, symbol on it). It is just above the volume buttons
Use arrow keys to select USB Device
It will give you the options of choosing Music, Photos, Videos or All
The media player can play...
- Audio Files - MP3s
- Pictures - JPG files
- Videos - Can play a range of video types including Xvid AVIs
Press exit to go back to live TV

How to Turn On/Off Subtitles on the Walker WP645TS-HD Combo

By deafult the subtitles are turned on on the Walker Combo. Just simply press the SUBT button on the remote to turn OFF/ON

Digital Teletext & Red Button Features

The Walker combo has an integrated mheg5 engine and supports not only the new irish Digital Teletext service but impressively also works with the UK digital teletext service. It can be accessed by pressing the TXT button on the remote or using the red button when you are on a satellite channel that supports it.
