First Time Installation of a Walker WP13DTB-R Saorview Box

  • HDMI Lead
  • User Manual (in English)
• Push the lead from the UHF aerial into the 'ANTENNA IN' plug
• Connect the HDMI lead (or scart lead) from the box to your TV
• Plug in the box
• After a short time the box will come on and will display the 1st time installation menu

How to Tune in Saorview on the Walker WP13DTB-R Saorview Box

• Press menu button on remote control
• Arrown to setup
• Arrown down to installation
• Select automatic channel scan
• Once the scan has started it will go through all the possible VHF & UHF channels
• If it picks up more than one transmitter it will add Radio & TV stations for each transmitter
• At the end of the scan it will exit automatically
• It will save all the TV & radio stations to a single list

EPG & Info Buttons on the Walker WP13DTB-R Box

This Walker WP13DTB-R receiver comes with a really good 7 Day EPG

• Press the 'EPG' button on the remote control
• Scroll down to the desired channel
• Scroll over the the desired program
• Use colour coded buttons
  • Red: Shrink
  • Green: Expand view to up to 4 hours
  • Blue: Next Day
  • Yellow: Previous Day
  • Can just press record button when desired programme is highlighted on EPG
• Pressing 'INFO'button while in EPG displays the following
  • Name of TV programme
  • Start and finish time
  • Programme synopsis

When watching a TV programme, if you press the INFO button

• Press the Info button once
  • Programme name
  • Channel #
  • Start & finish time

Teletext & Subtitle Functionality

To turn the subtiltes

• Press the 'SUBT' button
  • Turn On/Off subtitles

TELETEXT

• Press the 'TEXT' button
• This will bring up the new digital teletext service
• You can navigate using the arrow button on remote control
• Press TEXT button again to exit
