[STAFF NOTE] Thanks for below. We have updated the product page to mention the remote issue (first time it's ever come up) and also regarding the geo-blocking of some UK TV apps, this was already covered in our extensive pros and cons list[END]
This review is FYI purposes only! I have been dealing with Free TT for quite a while now, and before that. TV Trade. I never had any reason for complaint! However. Although this is Not a complaint. I think I should air my thoughts/concerns about our recently purchased Humax HDR FreeSat box. We purchased, based on info on and given by staff of FreeTV. There are a few proviso's which in fairness, you are advised of in advance. However. While the Humax is a very good box. To be perfectly honest though. I find it Not as user-friendly as perhaps it probably is if it were being used in a different jurisdiction. Also, There was/is an issue with it that only transpired when I started using the new box alongside our new SaorView Connect box. It seems both remote controls operate on the same frequency! This is very annoying, to say the least. It leads to one or other device changing channels etc at times. Even when you are watching something. (These issues wouldn't have been known to the staff because. They don't stock the SaorView Connect box. Or they would've highlighted the possible/probable conflict between the different remotes.) Actual afterthoughts on the Humax. If I'd known the issues with the remote(s) before I purchased. Especially given that I already had the SaorView box. I wouldn't have bought the Humax

Marks out of 10 for the DVR , 8 channel 2MP AHD DVR I Bough , I would give 10 , the only thing is it dose not have a video out port [STAFF NOTE = It has both VGA and HDMI out] ,never the less this unit is well worth the money . arrived the next day , service is the best I have come across in many years , keep up the good work , also your how to videos are great , and your quick reply on my query was excellent .
