How to tune in missing or additional channels on my satellite receiver

I recieved the box yesterday, works great and the picture is fantastic.
just noticed that the pre-programming of 2 stations didn't work
- Euro news
- Community channel
also BBC 3/4 needed to be added, scanning for bbc3/4 is only possible at 7pm onwards
might be worth fixing for your future customers
Our answer;
Some minor channels can change frequency (the bain of my life)
- You can check them out at on lyngsat.com
- Go to Europe
- Astra 28.2 east
- You can use the channel frequency, polarisation etc to tune in the missing channels
- The exact method on how to do this is covered on the 'User Manual' tab of each product
With regards to BBC 3/4
- CBeebies & CBBC turn into BBC3 & BBC4 at 7pm
It should also be noted that if you have a Freesat receiver, this is generally not an issue as Freesat boxes automatically update themselves if a channel frequency changes. The above information applies only to Free to air models.
