Can I get Sky Movies, Sky Sports, Setanta or At The Races on a Saorview Box

Can your box be connected to NTL cable in Dublin, as we need planning permission to erect a dish in my area.
Can I get Sky sport stations and at the races UK, any other sport stations. Sky movies.

it is important to understand the merits & limits of Saorview.
Merits of Saorview
- You can receive all the Irish channels
- RTE 1, RTE 2 (HD) , TV3, TG4, 3e, RTE News (& soon RTE Jnr, RTE+1)
- The picture quality is fantastic
- Any Saorview approved receiver (or indeed Generic receiver with MHEG5 middleware) will allow you the Digital Aertel teletext service
- All these channels are free with no service charge
- There is no need to install a satellite dish - all you need a TV aerial and it may be possible to mount in attic

- Solves the problem of the Analogue switch off at the end of 2012
- You can split a TV aerial signal and run it to multiple rooms
- The signal strength is very strong - easy to get good reception in most areas
Limits of Saroview
- You can not receive the UK Free TV stations (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, sky news) on it
- unless you live on the East coast or along the border
- Currently there is no pay TV service e.g. Sky sports, Sky movies, At the Races are NOT available
- The official Saorview boxes are still more expensive than generic digital TV receivers
- There are certain parts of Ireland (many in rural areas) where you there is no signal (satellite may be your only option)
