USES of 2 Way DC Splitter Cable
- Allows power from a single power unit to be fed to up to 2 cameras
- Normally used with 1 Amp power units (Cameras normally require around 300mA)

- It provides a very neat and compact solution of how to power multiple cameras from a single power unit
- With a 2 way DC splitter cable, it is often possible to power the DVR & 2 cameras from the DVR's own power unit
- It is a very cost effective way of powering cameras
- It can also work with 5Vdc power supplies which which use 5.5 x 2.5mm DC jacks & sockets
